The Macallan Rare is truly all about the casks. It’s crafted from the finest and rarest sherry seasoned oak casks to deliver The Macallan’s full-bodied flavor profile and deliver that ‘WOW’ factor. The 2023 Rare Cask release is a collaboration with musician Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds. The idea is that in a sensory world, the parallels between sound, aromas, flavor and color are all intertwined through the shared element of wood.
