The Ron del Barrilito Don Pedro Fernández Selection III is a massive departure from their standard lineup. While the Three Star is the brand’s widely loved “flagship” for daily sipping, the Selection III is an ultra-rare, single-cask expression designed for serious collectors. This is an uber-rare single barrel that was pulled in 1994. It aged for 31 years in a single Oloroso Sherry cask, far surpassing most aged Rum statements that you’d expect to see from anywhere between 6-10 years. This is liquid gold. One of the rarest spirits you’ll find. So much juice was lost in the aging process, this whole project yielded 186 bottles. This is a gem for my serious collectors.
