The Capablanca HHH Cab Sauv gives you everything you want in small batch Cabernet. The wine is a beautiful representation of the unique terroir. This one is a deep dark purple and features a surprisingly vibrant nose of fresh blackberry, violets, and creme de cassis. The mouth is full-bodied and plush, round and juicy with a core of black currant and a kiss of oak.
92 Points, James Suckling
Double Canyon continues to prove themselves amongst the best producers in Washington State with their third consecutive vintage of at least a 92 point score for their flagship Cabernet. The 2017 Horse Heaven Hills Cab comes roaring right out of the gates with beautiful, clean red fruits. On the attack, the wine offers intricately woven youthful tannins that give the wine a delicious and slightly chewy taste. It’s a crowd pleaser – one of Nicholas Wines’ all-time customer favorites.

“Weinbau fruit makes up the backbone of this wine. The aromas pull you into the glass, with notes of blue plum, raspberry, vanilla, graphite and coffee. The palate is full feeling, with lush fruit flavors and sneaky structure behind them. There’s a pleasing lick of acidity that ups the interest. It’s a big mouthful of a wine that overdelivers. Decant to see it at its best.”
Anne Sery describes her Trousse Chemise Cabernets as an ode to the Left Bank and her winemaking roots. It’s a beautiful and fresh Cabernet with aromas that leap from the glass with of black raspberry, violets, and creme de liquor notes. The mouth gives generous amounts of juicy black fruits at the core with hints of baking spice and a smooth, savory finish. This is a terrific partner for just about anything from hard cheese, to poultry, summer salads, and even dessert!
