This is an extremely limited production, uber-rare collaboration by High West and The Prisoner. It’s one of those things that is going absolutely crazy on the secondary market. I’m seeing some people selling these bottles for more than $800/bottle! Insanity!
This one a blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskey finished in The Prisoner Red Blend wine barrels, and is the ultimate whiskey to enjoy neat. There’s notes of cherries and raspberry with some cinnamon, allspice, chocolate and caramel. This is one crazy hard to procure bottle, but it’s worth it if you can do it.
