Cantina Girlan is one of the most respected and historic cooperative wineries in the Alto Adige region of Northern Italy. Founded in 1923 by 23 winegrowers, it has grown to include over 200 member families who cultivate roughly 215 hectares of vineyards in some of the most prestigious sub-zones of the Oltradige, including Cornaiano, Girlan, and Mazon.
Somehow, these wines still manage to fly under the radar, but especially within Alto Adige, this winery is celebrated for its ability to balance large-scale production with artisanal precision, consistently producing wines that reflect the cool-climate Alpine terroir and the unique mineral-rich soils of the area.
