On the nose: Bright citrus leads to that rich cooked agave flavor, followed by some more earthy notes of butter and olive. There’s also some black and green pepper and undertones that add intriguing complexity.
On the palate: Fresh citrus and cooked agave dominate, balanced by hints of vanilla and herbaceous basil. A subtle olive note adds depth. The finish is remarkably long and complex while remaining smooth and approachable. What a beauty!

These guys are superstars in Mexico and becoming more and more widely known internationally by the day. They’re one of the hardest bottles to procure in the Tequila world and they’re a producer that just seems to do everything the right way.
I’m talking all estate fruit and bottling, crushed by stone ground (tahona) and 100% agave. The flavors, the smells – everything sings in this bottling. Unfortunately, there’s not nearly enough to go around. We’re talking about some super rare and highly allocated stuff. I’m happy to at least have a few bottles for the Nicholas Wines faithful.
