Let me welcome you to the new high proof batch release of 2025 from the good folks at George T. Stagg. This is the first release of the year.

These Stagg Jr. releases have absolutely exploded in popularity over the past few years, behind incredible quality, super high demand and not close to enough supply.

The newest release is Batch 24D and comes revamped and retooled and totally dialed in. Lots of wonderful dried fruit mixed with some molasses, fresh baked brown bread and more. It’s incredibly robust and flavorful with wonderful complexity. This is one big boy that checks in at 127.4 Proof (63.7% alc.) yet it’s slightly more restrained than some of the previous bottlings, and much more smooth and put together. It’s a beauty for sure!
