I have learned plenty of things in the wine business — one of them being that there is NO ONE out there like Herve Favre. The uber-talented Frenchman turned Argentinian has earned multiple Winemaker of the Year awards from numerous publications and was even recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Wine community.

I’ve long argued that Herve’s wines are in the all-time top three, if not the very best, in terms of quality-to-price ratio. But in the last few years, the wines have gotten so good that Fabre has made me look far smarter than I am.

With ‘Trilogie’ Herve continues to sharpen the pencil to appeal to wine drinkers of all means. Using his younger vines to make Trilogie, he’s able to land a delicious, juicy Malbec from high elevation at a price that won’t break the bank.
