DuMOL Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2013

Founded in 1996, DuMOL is a latter-day pioneer in the Russian River Valley most notably for their Pinot Noir production. They are headed by Winemaker, Viticulturist, Andy Smith who continues to push this estate to new heights with each vintage.

The Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is comprised from seven different vineyards and multiple clones though it manages to harmonize beautifully in the glass, with plenty of complexity and nuance. It also has the rare benefit of being aged in the Restaurant Nicholas cellar for a while, so it has a little bit of maturity to it, making it a special treat to drink now and over the next 5-8 years.

Original price was: $225.00.Current price is: $79.00.

The genius Andy Smith turned in a beauty of a Pinot Noir that now has a little bit of age to it making it a perfect “drink-now” RRV Pinot. Classic coastal hi-toned Pinot aromas of bring cherry, fresh strawberries, roses and a dash of herbs, anise and sage. This one is poised and beautiful with a full-bodied roundness. It’s well-polished, subtle and tightly coiled. As you get further into the glass more darker-fruited elements start to appear.
