Corzano e Paterno Rosato Il Corzanello 2021
This picturesque estate lies in the commune of San Casciano, just outside of Florence. Joshi Goldschimdt is a farmer first; his pristine vineyards contain Sangiovese, ranging in age from 5 to 35 years, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines, averaging 20 years in age. The vines are tended organically, the grapes, hand harvested.
The Cornazello Rosato that this wonderful organic estate crafts each year is not your typical Rose, and that is highlighted again with their 2021 effort. The wine absolutely sings in the glass– a beautiful Rose of Sangiovese rounded out with a drop of Merlot. It’s flat-out delicious.

This is easy sippin’, harmonious, food friendly Rose that has the backbone to stand up to fresh pizza. The Rosato is a seriously sophisticated blend that offers more savory than sweet notes.
