Condesa ‘Prickly Pear and Orange Blossom’ Gin

I’m going to be upfront with you. I’m not typically a cocktail guy. And anything too sweet? Hard pass. So when this bottle of Condesa Gin from Mexico City landed on my desk – gorgeous packaging and all with ‘prickly pear and orange blossom’ on the label, I’ll be honest, I judged the book by its cover and assumed it wasn’t for me.

I was wrong.

The quality of this gin stopped me in my tracks. The flavors swirling around the glass, the dry, satisfyingly long finish with just the slighest hint of the aforementioned fruit. This is a gin that didn’t even need a drop of anything else. I sipped it straight and was genuinely blown away. This is one I would recommend for every liquor cabinet.
