Weller Single Barrel Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey (Orange)

Category

William Larue Weller spent most of his life educating the public on his first-of-its-kind bourbon recipe using wheat in the mash bill. Throughout the early 1800’s, that simply wasn’t how it was done, only corn was used. But W.L. was convinced he was onto something even better.

Weller’s gentle, mild and smooth sipping whiskey changed the whole drinking experience as we know it. Handpicked and bottled one exceptional barrel at a time, this is a very rare and coveted release that that collector’s line up to receive. For the refined bourbon palate, no two barrels are quite the same. What you can expect always though is that distinct, full-bodied flavor that makes Weller’s wheated bourbon so unique.

Original price was: $775.00.Current price is: $599.00.

This is one of the toughest bottles to get your hands on in the whiskey world every year. That’s probably because of how truly special it is. The Weller Single Barrel has a nose of cherry, french vanilla and even mint.  That pairs well with caramel and baking spices, and some more chocolately notes on the palate, with a finish of cinnamon, coffee, crushed black pepper.
