Terenzuola ‘Vigne Basse’ Vermentino IGT Toscana 2022

Categories , ,

Terenzuola is a rockstar producer in Tuscany who for years has been one of the most consistent white wine producers in all of Italy. They make the ‘Vigne Basse’ Vermentino from plots 150-300 feet above sea level off Tuscan loam and clay soil.

From there, 24 plots of Vermentino are broken down into 50-70 different micro fermentations, all started with indigenous yeast. This is an entirely organic project after all.

The resulting wine is beautiful – aromatically mirroring a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc more than your typical Vermentino. The first things that jump out at you here is the minerality and the acidity. Beautiful, bright and constant, it serves as the perfect backbone for a white with pure stone fruits, lemon, lime and the smallest hint of floral influence.

Original price was: $28.00.Current price is: $19.99.
