Sinegal Details Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This is just an insane deal from the super formidable Sinegal Estate in St. Helena. Their ‘Details’ Cabernet is always one of California’s top Cabernet values, but their 2019 vintage was exceptional and went above and beyond all previous iterations.

As an aside, the 2019 vintage may be one of the best in history. Galloni reported that the 2019s “feel like they have a little more energy, power and depth than the 2018s.” and the 2018 vintage got a near-perfect 99 point vintage rating from Wine Spectator. (But more on that over the next few months.)

Galloni then rips off a list of new projects that he calls the highlights of the Napa Valley but if you look closely, there was one that stood out. The very last item on the list was Sinegal Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Details with a note: “This new bottling from Sinegal and winemaker Ryan Knoth shows just how appealing Sonoma Cabernet can be, and it’s a steal.”
