The newest Voyage from the Wagner family has arrived and I can report that it’s another great rendition of a wine that is making quite a name for itself. It’s classic Caymus– big, juicy and fruit forward and perfect dinner company for grilled meat.
With some of the best Malbec grapes from the highest appellations of the Andes Mountains brought back to Napa chilled and finished in the same style as the Special Selection Cabernet (that runs for $175/btl), this wine is of the “no-brainer” variety.
Looking at reviews online, I wasn’t surprised to see that people raved about this one and considered it to be the best iteration of the wine to date. I also saw that most people had the wine for anywhere between $45 and $55. I like to be on the right side of those things.
