Morgan Cotes du Crows GSM 2021

94 Pts (Editors’ Choice), Wine Enthusiast – 93 Pts, Tasting Panel – 92 Pts, James Suckling

I love this wine. It’s so versatile – the perfect Pizza and/or weekday pasta meal (especially with sausage or meatballs) but it would also be the belle of the ball at a backyard BBQ or even with a nice strip steak.

Wine Enthusiast raved about the balance of this beauty in their Editor’s Choice review, calling it: “Incredibly bright, fresh, and inviting”. Tasting Panel couldn’t get enough of the smells, writing that “The aromas are inviting, teeming with fresh-off-the-vine strawberries and bramble fruit, alongside hints of rose petals and blood orange.” And our guy James Suckling fell for the “crunchy tannins, balanced acidity and fresh, vibrant finish.”

Original price was: $25.00.Current price is: $22.00.

Their single-vineyard bottlings go for $75/bottle and are known as some of the best in Santa Lucia Highlands. The Côtes du Crow’s is the top value in their impressive portfolio—a super highly decorated Rhône-style blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre with just a tiny splash of Tempranillo.

The 2021 Morgan Côtes du Crow’s GSM earned 94 points and Editor’s Choice from Wine Enthusiast, 93 from Tasting Panel, and 92 from James Suckling. Those are huge scores for a wine I can offer today for under $20/bottle on case orders.
