I have to be honest with you: this is one of the best representations of the grape I can remember trying. So bright, so crisp, so alive. This is textbook Falanghina from people who have been mastering Southern Italian white wine longer than just about anyone on earth.

Understandably, James Suckling was a big fan, giving this beauty 93 points and labeling it “Focused and fresh” with a “clean and floral mineral character and hints of citrus and white stone fruit.” Antonio Galloni of Vinous came in at 91 points calling it “Energetic and mineral-driven with savory yellow apple and pear set against brisk acidity. Finishes saline and loaded with tension.” Two completely different but equally compelling takes on the same wine. Both of them right on the money.
