This is a super special limited bottling from Fortaleza. They are literally giving you a taste of their world-famous Blanc in its purest form, direct form the still. Instead of being proofed down, its served at 92 Proof (46% alc.). It’s a supercharged bottling that leads with powerful aromas of backed fruit, agave, black olives and a hint of bramble. On the attack, a more rustic mouthfeel than the regular with a little more nuance and depth but with the same great 100% agave. I just wish I had more to go round!

These guys are superstars in Mexico and becoming more and more widely known internationally by the day. They’re one of the hardest bottles to procure in the Tequila world and they’re a producer that just seems to do everything the right way.
I’m talking all estate fruit and bottling, crushed by stone ground (tahona) and 100% agave. The flavors, the smells – everything sings in this bottling. Unfortunately, there’s not nearly enough to go around. We’re talking about some super rare and highly allocated stuff. I’m happy to at least have a few bottles for the Nicholas Wines faithful.
