I believe you can’t have enough ‘every-day’ Italian wines in your arsenal. They’re delicious on their own but even more so versatile and food friendly. Find a doctor in Italy and ask them, and you’re almost guaranteed to hear them tell you to drink a glass or two of vino a night. Is there medical evidence behind it? I don’t know; I’m not a doctor! What I do know is this: the six wines we’ve put together here are essential Tuesday-Saturday night gems, four reds and two whites that mesh perfectly with everything from ‘Thursday Night Football’ to ‘Real Housewives’, from appertifs to pizza delivery.
As they say in the old country, “Il vino fa buon sangue” or “Good wine makes good blood”.
The normal price on this 12-pack would be $233, we are offering this at $199/case (15% OFF) and FREE SHIPPING on all orders. After all, if it’s a house wine, it should be delivered the same way your pizza is…

100 Pts, Lisa Perotti-Brown (Wine Independent) – 98 Pts, James Suckling – 98 Pts, Parker’s Wine Advocate
“Deep garnet-purple colored, the nose slowly unfurls to unveil beguiling floral notes of candied violets and rose oil over a core of creme de cassis, blackberry pie, and plum preserves, giving way to notions of licorice, Indian spices, iron ore, and crushed rocks. Full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with taut, muscular black fruit layers, intertwined with gorgeous floral and exotic spice accents, and framed by firm, finely grained tannins with seamless freshness, finishing long and mineral-laced. Tightly coiled with so much latent energy waiting to explode, this is a spectacular expression of the vintage and Napanook vineyard. Still tightly coiled, give it a good 6-7 years in the cellar before broaching, and allow it a few hours in a decanter if consumed before 2032.”
This a win/win deal that I’ve negotiated with a few of our suppliers. I told them that once the Nicholas Faithful gets introduced to a fabulous wine at a great price, they are extremely faithful (that’s why we call them that) and will reorder many times over. The trick is just getting them to try your wines. So my customers get phenomenal wines at the best prices going anywhere. And believe you me, there are some very heavy hitters in the case. This is my first spring/summer edition and the wines are killer.
Every month, Nicholas Wines will ship two wines hand-selected by Nicholas Harary. Discover a new region, variety, or style! This is the perfect gift for both introductory and expert wine lovers!
99 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – 97-100 Pts, Lisa Perotti-Brown
“The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Dakota Vineyard explodes with violets, aniseed and cast iron, with a deep core of crushed blueberries and black cherries, evolving continually with each approach to the glass. The palate is stunning with its intensity and lift, pure fruits, pixelated tannins and focused acidity that drives the very long finish. Its exceptional balance and super pure flavors, plus that characteristic streak of iron that appears across the Anakota portfolio, really take the 2019 Helena Dakota to the next level.” -Erin Brooks, Parker’s Wine Advocate
