Don Fulano Blanco is a bright and colorful expression of highland agave. It’s fresh on the nose and yet profound with a beautiful elegance. It’s taken home a number of double gold medals and a ‘Best in Class’ 97-point score at the 2021 Craft Distillers Spirits Competition.
This one was cooked in a traditional pinto for 28-32 hours, fermented in an open tank for 72 to 96 hours and distilled in 80% copper pot and 20% coffey still. It matured for 6 months, longer than most Blancos usually mature, but then again Don Fulano’s is a lot better than just about every Blanco you’re going to find on the market.

The agave for this tequila is estate grown and the liquid distilled with well water in copper pot stills. Salted-lime aromas bring in the freshness of the agave. Pineapple and vanilla coat the palate, which has a clean yet earthy finish.
When my yearly allocation came in for W.L. Weller, I was pleased to find out that I was granted a few ‘bonus bottles’ by the powers that be. Hey, you know I’m not arguing. I only got a few more the Single Barrel, 12-Year and the Antique so I decided to put those into 3-packs and sell those as well. Get in while you can, I only have three. Each 3-pack sampler includes 1 bottle each of the following:
Weller Single Barrel (orange)
Weller 12 year (black)
Old Weller Antique (red)
In terms of rare and unique bottles go, this Japanese Whisky is up there with anything in the spirits world. It’s a blended whisky finished in Sakura (cherry blossom) casks and Hibiki® 30 Year Old, a rare annual release that retails for $5000/btl. Hibiki is a gorgeous blend of ten various malt and grain whiskies from Suntory’s Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. It’s super aptly named as all of these flavors and smells mesh together beautifully, with no shortage of flavors and aroma.
*Pre-Arrival Release* Orders will begin shipping the week of September 11th.
A new High West release is always met with a ton of anticipation, but if you’re a fan of the Cabernet Cask finishes on Bourbons and Tequilas like I am, then this one is 100% right up your alley. The aromas absolutely drip out of the bottle—a mix of cherries, oranges, and chocolate dance on the tongue, followed by some nuttiness intertwined with a hint of the used Cabernet barrel. It’s got some spice to it, a little hickory smoke, and some dark cocoa notes at the end that keep you coming back over and over again.

Michter’s always provides some of the best value in American Whiskey and they never miss. This one is their best bang for the buck bottling that they make. This is so smooth and delicious, you would never know this is bottled at 84.8 Proof. This is a bit of a spicy number with those signature Rye peppery notes, butterscotch, creme brulee and a hint of toasted oak. One of my all-time favorite under $50 bottles.
