Denner Mixed Sampler Case

Denner Wines was first founded in 1997 in Willow Creek, Paso Robles, but didn’t have their first vintage until 2005. In less than 20 years, they have become a California Cult winery in every sense of the world, selling almost entirely through their allocation list which of course has a wait to it. Vinous called them “one of the area’s iconic wineries…among the very best in California”. But even that might not be a strong enough endorsement. These are some of the strongest domestic wines I have tasted in a long time.
Each 12-pack sampler includes 3 bottle each of the following:
(3 btls) Dirt Worshipper Syrah 2021
(3 btls) Ditch Digger Red Blend 2021
(3 btls) ‘Mother of Exiles’ Bordeaux Blend 2021
(3 btls) ‘Theresa’ White Rhone Blend 2022

Original price was: $1,035.00.Current price is: $795.00.

94 Points, James Suckling
Fermented in 3,000-liter Hungarian oak tanks, this complex and layered wine is made from white Rhone varieties. It’s 40% roussanne, 21% vermentino, 20% grenache blanc, 10% marsanne, 6% picpoul blanc and 3% clairette blanche. While ripe and generous, it’s also tangy and slightly tannic, with a fresh bite in texture. Medium-bodied. Drink or hold.

Denner Vineyards is a highly respected and acclaimed winery located on the far western side of the Paso Robles AVA in California. Founded by Ron Denner in 1999, after an extensive search for the ideal vineyard site, the estate boasts a 156-acre parcel that presses up against the Santa Lucia Range.

This location in the Templeton Gap provides a unique microclimate with significant diurnal temperature swings (warm days, cool nights) due to marine influences, creating optimal conditions for growing a diverse range of grape varieties. They even sell some of their high-quality fruit to other premium Paso Robles producers, a testament to their vineyard’s caliber.
