Corzano e Paterno Rosato Il Corzanello 2020

Categories , ,

This picturesque estate lies in the commune of San Casciano, just outside of Florence. Joshi Goldschimdt is a farmer first; his pristine vineyards contain Sangiovese, ranging in age from 5 to 35 years, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines, averaging 20 years in age. The vines are tended organically, the grapes, hand harvested.

The Cornazello Rosato that this wonderful organic estate crafts each year is not your typical Rose, and that is highlighted again with their 2020 effort. The wine absolutely sings in the glass– a beautiful Rose of Sangiovese rounded out with a drop of Merlot. After tasting this one last week, I’m sure it’s headed for another big score again this year. It’s delicious.

Original price was: $21.00.Current price is: $18.50.

Crated from the wonderful estate just outside of Florence in Tuscany, Corzano e Paterno once again churned out an incredibly special and delicate Rosato of Sangiovese. This is easy sippin’, harmonious, food friendly Rose that has the backbone to stand up to fresh pizza. The Rosato is a seriously sophisticated blend that offers more savory than sweet notes. It’s an absolute treat to drink now and will continue to drink well for a few years at least.
