95 Points, Tasting Panel
Bright and lively, this is one of my favorite non vintage Bruts. Crisp and balanced, with smooth, exuberant, Chardonnay-driven style; racy, elegant, and totally charming; long and memorable.
Champagne Taittinger Brut La Francaise NV
Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate described the Taittinger Brut la Francaise as “perfectly balanced with a pinpoint mousse and a refreshing, penetrating finish” which is a pretty apt description of this beautiful Champagne. The iconic Brut La Francaise cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes, selected from the finest vineyards in the Champagne region. With its pale golden hue and persistent fine bubbles, it delights the senses with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, and freshly baked brioche. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance of crisp acidity and creamy texture, culminating in a long, luxurious finish.

Founded in 1734 by Jacques Fourneaux, a wine merchant, the Taittinger family took over the reins in the early 20th century, infusing the brand with their vision and passion. Throughout the years, Taittinger has weathered wars and revolutions, yet it has emerged stronger than ever, its legacy enduring through generations.
