It’s been so long since we had a Chad Cab Sauv that some of you have been busting my chops about Chad turning into a Pinot Noir brand! The truth is that man’s roots are and always will be in Cabernet country, having grown up amongst the vines in Napa’s famous Mt. Veeder AVA.
But here’s the deal: most years, it’s near impossible for Chad to be able to make a Napa Valley Cabernet under $30/bottle, so most years, he simply passes on the fruit he’s offered. But this year, after tasting through samples and hearing all the excitement about 2024’s potential as one of the greatest vintages to date, he knew there was no way he was passing up the extraordinary opportunity that he was presented. That’s exactly how we got Chad’s first under-$30 Napa Valley Cab since 2018!
