Bookers Little Book Chapter 9 ‘None For Granted’ Bourbon

Categories ,

**Note: This is one of the coolest things the Bourbon Buyers Club has helped accomplish: as of this morning, we were just granted the right to take all of New Jersey’s allocation. Our back-to-back sellouts spoke volumes. We now have every bottle in NJ, baby!

Freddie Noie blended together four different Bourbons that ranged 7-11 years in age with an 8-year Rye Whiskey to create what he describes as a homage to “the founding flavors that made modern American Whiskey.” Simply put, this is Freddie’s tribute to the backbone profile that shaped an entire category.

The juice here is exactly what you’d expect from a hall-of-fame Master Distiller. Beautiful bronze color leads to aromas of caramel apple, brown sugar, and charred wood. The palate attacks with butterscotch, cocoa, and stone fruits, finishing with lingering caramel and baking spice that Freddie perfected after “experimenting with several blends” to land this exact profile.

Original price was: $199.00.Current price is: $155.00.

This is a super passion project for Master Distiller Freddie Noe which brings out the most creativity perhaps in the entire Jim Beam portfolio. There’s nothing quite like the Jim Beam and Bookers  “Little Book Series.” It seems like every chapter, Freddie pulls a rabbit out of his hat and does something unheard of for Jim Beam for a variety of reasons.

Little Book’s Chapter 9 is a total winner, but it’s so rare and allocated that only eight 6-packs even made their way to New Jersey. Luckily, thanks to knowing Freddie and visiting him down in Kentucky for years, we managed to snag half of the entire allocation for the state!
