The best way to describe this wine is the perfect way to start an evening, make a toast, or to accompany lighter appetizers.
Prosecco is the classic apertivo of Italy. Its fruity aromas, bright acidity and effervescence make this style of wine a perfect way to start an evening, make a toast or to accompany lighter appetizers. Prosecco is a grape variety indigenous to the Veneto region of Northeast Italy, and the Asolo subregion is one of the finest sites for Italy’s most famous sparkling wine. Bele Casel is a small, organic, artisanal winery who strives to make aromatic and concentrated Prosecco. It’s a great way to start any party.

Bele Casel is an excellent wine for an aperitif. It’s dry, crisp and light which means it’s a perfect match for almost any food pairing and also fabulous to enjoy on its own.
Bele Casel is great with Prosciutto and other dried meats, stuffed mushrooms, creamy sauces, seafood and fried food!

Cristina Forner is a fifth generation winemaker who is trying to further the legacy of her family in Spain. The Brut Cava that she makes is simply unbeatable for the price. It’s got a ton of energy and lift from the tiny bubbles, leading with a bouquet of citrus fruits and notes of freshly baked brioche. The mouth is fun and round with great balance, harmony and structure.
I’ll never forget when we first offered this little Super Tuscan number. It went absolutely nuts. Then people tasted it and the re-orders started flooding it. It’s truly a classy bottle of wine. “The Estate of Seven Skies” is named for the view atop the tiny estate and is perched high up on a hill overlooking Bolgheri as well as the original Sassicaia vineyard, the most famous Super Tuscan wine of all. The newly released 2020 Tenuta Sette Cieli “Yantra” is an absolute stunner crafted by a rising winemaking star in Elena Pozzolini. It’s not scored yet, but when it is – expect a 93 or higher like its predecessor.

This is a beauty that is comprised of vintages spanning from 1998 to 2014 with the latter acting for the base of the NV Champagne 170th Edition. These epic bottlings are highly allocated and always highly rated and this one is no exception. It comes in at 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay, 11% Meunier and offers light golden color and tiny vivacious bubbles. It’s an elegant bottle of wine that’s perfect for a special occasion.

Almondo Roero Arneis Bricco delle Ciliegie Le Rive (Gold Label) is made from the estate’s oldest single plot of vines within the already heralded Bricco Delle Ciliegie (hill of cherries). This is only the third vintage of this label but it’s already considered by many to be one of the best white wines in all of Italy. Juicy peaches, pears, and a hint of almonds on the nose. The mouth is dense and fleshy, full of bright fruit, minerality and salinity notes with a touch of spice that’s the highlight of a finish that lingers and lingers in the best way. An absolute treat.
