Mark Aubert is considered one of the best winemakers in the world. The waitlist for his wines takes years to break through. 12 times has his wines received 100-points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and scored a perfect score for this one from Antonio Galloni and Vinous Media. He’s consistently in the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list including this wine which was #2 in their Top 100 List for 2025 – it’s highest placement ever.
Named after beloved late vineyard manager Ulises Valdez Sr. (UV) and located at his home estate on Stoetz Lane (SL), this is one of the vineyards planted at the far west end of the Sonoma Coast, just a few miles from the ocean. It’s a spectacular site that has been the backbone for some of the most beautiful wines made anywhere in the world.
