Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2025

Nobody on the planet can boast the hot streak that Allan Scott is currently enjoying. The legendary New Zealand winemaker was the first to plant a vineyard in Marlborough back in 1973, and he’s become as important to NZ winemaking as Michel Rolland is to France or Alberto Antonini is to Italy.

His 2020 Sauvignon Blanc landed at #23 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year. Then he followed that up with his 2021 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc winning Wine Spectator’s “2021 Wine Value of the Year” award – an insanely impressive honor. It really can’t be understated the amount of aromatics and flavor he’s able to get out of his Sauvignon Blancs.

With his latest release (once again a 90+ electric example of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc), the trend continues where you never know if a wine is going to wind up on Spectator’s Top 100 list because the quality-to-price ratio is always going to be unmatched.
