Much like finding truly great under $30 Cabernet, my hunt for excellent sub-$25 White Burgundy can be a Herculean task these days. That’s why I feel a little bit like a dope for it to take me this long to hook up with one of the most consistent and revered wine estates in the world, Albert Bichot.
Now in their sixth generation, Albert Bichot continues to upgrade their unprecedented holdings in the region. They’re one of the few to have properties that span all five key Burgundian regions (Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais), allowing them to source from the region’s finest terroirs. Everything they do now is sustainable and completely organic, and the wines have never been better.
