The Bernard Reverdy Sancerre Rose 2022 is gorgeous. A beautiful pale pink to the brim, this baby is fresh and super aromatic with a complex nose of citrus, wild strawberries and white flowers. With air, higher tones emerge, with a great mingling of ripe fruit, and stony minerality. Medium-bodied, fresh and focused on the palate, with concise limestone-drive acidity, this is an elegant, lively, and energetic Sancerre Rose that mirrors the warm vintage but also the old vines rooting deep in stony soils. This is so much better than your run-of-the mill Rose – it’s an ageworthy, food-friendly Rose
Their 2022 ‘Les Vignes Silex’ Sancerre is a fantastic bottle of Sancerre and comes way less than anything you’re going to see with ‘Silex on the label. For those of you who don’t know silex soil, it’s a unique flinty clay soil that’s cut with limestone, which absolutely sings with Sauvignon Blanc. It imparts distinctive mineral qualities to the grapes, resulting in wines that are vibrant, complex, and incredibly expressive.
The juice here is so pure and elegant, it tastes much more like a $80/bottle of Tequila than one going for half the price, but that’s why I love these single barrel deals so much. The value is insane. This Reposado spent just under 12 months in used bourbon barrels. Golden brown with fresh agave, oak & vanilla. Remarkably smooth finish. This is one of those oddball tequila’s that is good enough to just sip on the rocks but cheap enough to use to make one hell of a margarita.

“The 50% Moscato Bianco, 50% Brachetto is one of the most distinctive sweet wines in all of Italy. Exotic floral and spice accents soar out of the glass. Rose petal, mint, sage, dried herbs and hard candy play off bright acids and an overall feeling of crystalline energy.” -Antonio Galloni

“The 2021 Barbera d’Alba Bricco dei Merli shows a beautifully fruity, almost juicy personality that paints an authentic portrait of this grape. The Congo winemaking team has worked out its approach to elegant wines. This Barbera does not show any of the excesses, like sourness or too much acidity, that can sometimes characterize Barbera when made in less capable hands.” -Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

Far Niente’s beloved Napa Valley Cabernet comes from a who’s who of the best vineyard sites throughout Napa Valley. It’s a seamless Cabernet blend sourced from Oakville, Stag’s Leap, Diamond Mountain, St. Helena, Calistoga, Oak Knoll and the winery’s estate fruit in Yountville. The 2021 vintage is a particular high note – it’s a must-have for Big Red, Napa and Cabernet lovers.

The Far Niente Chardonnay 2022 offers outstanding aging potential. While undeniably delicious now, cellaring this wine will unveil further complexities and nuanced layers of flavor. Let this Chardonnay evolve into a symphony of dried apricot, honeyed notes, and a lingering, exquisitely satisfying finish.
From two New Jersey natives comes something special from Napa Valley. First the Faustini’s bought grapes from the historic Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard for their first test batch. Next they brought in Opus One & Clos du Val alum Kian Tavakoli to head up the winemaking. Throw in an outrageously good 2015 vintage in Napa and what you have is the recipe for a knockout wine that is starting to come into its own and will be great for the next 10-20 years!

Fabio Sireci farms one of the most beautiful vineyard spots in Italy with amazing views. His Nero D’Avola vines average age is now incredibly 100 years, still magically producing tiny grapes with thick skins that allow for great aromatic complexity. This shows a powerhouse mid-palate of black, spicy fruit and a fine, long finish. As big as it is, the wine is fresh and terrific and has so much life left ahead.
The newly released Fiancetto Howell Mt. Cabernet is a dream – a gorgeous, elegant dark-fruited Cabernet Sauvignon that is it picks up time in the glass, unfurls its full signature of cedar laced cassis nose and mid palate of chocolate-covered cherries and savory spices. Only four palates of this (224 cases) were made off a gorgeous, sprawling high elevation spot 1500 feet above sea level. It’s full and plush and finishes fresh and oh so long. The price is crazy for Howell Mountain Cabernet but that’s what Ry Richards and Fiancetto is all about.
The longtime winemaker atop Pritchard Hill, made a gorgeous, well-polished Napa Valley Cabernet with a core of dark cassis fruit with just the right touch of new oak. Long on the palate and slow to unwind in the glass, the Fiancetto 2021 is absolutely packed with blue and black fruits.

This Kiwi gem is the Sauvignon Blanc of dreams, with tropical fruit, citrus, and herb aromas that will make your nose dance. And the taste? It’s like a party in your mouth – so refreshing and complex, with just the right amount of acidity and richness.
