Domaine Reverdy-Ducroux traces its roots back to 1550 and is absolutely thriving under the direction of 14th generation winemaker Laurent Reverdy. Laurent has transformed the historic estate to best capture the individual essence of each of their distinct 70 micro-plots and his work has paid off hugely.
The estate gained enormous popularity in the 1970s when it became the go-to for the French Michelin scene. Since then, it’s become a restaurant favorite at some of the top culinary spots around the world. and became the go-to restaurant white in some of the top spots around the world.
Their 2022 ‘Les Vignes Silex’ Sancerre is a fantastic bottle of Sancerre and comes way less than anything you’re going to see with ‘Silex on the label. For those of you who don’t know silex soil, it’s a unique flinty clay soil that’s cut with limestone, which absolutely sings with Sauvignon Blanc. It imparts distinctive mineral qualities to the grapes, resulting in wines that are vibrant, complex, and incredibly expressive. The greatest bottles in all of Sancerre, Dagueneau’s Silex and Vacheron’s Les Romains have the same soil.

92 Points (Best Buy), Wine Enthusiast – 90 Points, James Suckling
The winery could never expected their Tuscan Vermentino would become as integral as it has – even 25 years later, it’s still a key piece of the puzzle for Campo Maccione. It’s an unassuming wine with great viscosity and bright, savory flavors that way overdelivers for the price. James Suckling agreed, as did Wine Enthusiast. Suckling gave it a 90 and deemed it “an interesting take on Tuscan Vermentino.” Wine Enthusiast took it up a few notches, attaching a coveted ‘Best Buy’ designate to the wine along with a 92-point review for the wine “with a sophisticated restraint.”
From just west of Sancerre, Vincent’s vines are tended organically in flint-laden, calcareous soil which lends a great brightness to the wine. The wine is crisp and aromatic Sauvignon, and is a superb choice for a “cocktail” wine, as an aperitif or to accompany just about anything from sea.
92 Points, Wine Enthusiast
This is a huge favorite of folks in the Red Bank area. It’s a bold, unapologetic Chardonnay with juicy notes of peach, lemon sorbet, baking spice and vanilla with a rich, creamy middle and plenty of natural acidity to balance it out. The lemon vanilla finish is perhaps the wine’s calling card or the sheer drinkability of it all. Either way, it’s a Chard that people adore. It’s no wonder Wine Enthusiast called this, “a big win for fans of this bold style”.
One of the best places to look for great Tuesday nighters are the sandy, limestone-laden hills of Asti. And within Asti, there is no white wine calling card that holds a candle to Moscato. Here it is king. Gianni Doglia naturally farms a tiny estate in the picturesque hamlet of Castagnole Lanze. His Moscato is the product of old vines, vinfied without oak to preserve its incredible fruit. This is serious, high-quality and hand-harvested Moscat, that oozes with sweet tropical fruits and a hint of minerality that stays on your tongue with each sip. This is also the perfect wine for anyone searching for a low alcohol option as well.
