Founded in the late 1980’s by visionaries Rollin Soles and Alvin “Skip” Carmichael, Argyle wasn’t just entering a nascent market; they were blazing a trail. Recognizing the potential of Oregon’s cool climate and unique geology, they meticulously studied Champagne production methods and adapted them to the Willamette Valley terroir. The result?
