Four times, he’s been named Winemaker of the Year from European publications and the man is showing no signs of slowing down. His 2023 Reserva bottling is the ultimate everyday pizza/BBQ wine. It’s so dang versatile – I’m talking Christmas ham, Hanukkah latkes, and pretty much anything else you can dream up in the kitchen.

Unoaked, fresh, and fruity, this is such an approachable wine with a plush mouthfeel. It’s soft and robust with complex tannins, spicy on the palate with a long finish. It’s the kind of wine that’s hard to put down. That’s a hallmark of J Portugal Ramos wines. Affordable, approachable, and absolutely delicious.
