Wild Turkey Master’s Keep was always one of the most sought-after annual releases with the 10-years series ending as planned in 2025. I managed to get a few bottles of what was the 9th of 10 renditions and there were only 10 six-packs for all of New Jersey.

As the oldest age-stated rye ever released by Wild Turkey, the Master’s Keep Triumph is the ultimate showcase in maturity and restraint. The nose is a masterclass in classic rye spice, leading with candied apple, dark chocolate, and a herbal tea notes. On the palate, the 10 years of aging manifests in a rich texture that balances bold white pepper and clove with softer layers of vanilla bean, sweet tobacco, and a touch of grilled pineapple. The finish is remarkably long and elegant, showing a polished oak grip and leaving behind a warm, lingering echo of spicy honey and toasted rye bread. This is a beauty and one of the lasts of a dying breed.
