Terras Gauda O Rosal Albarino Blend 2021
If you haven’t heard of Terras Gauda yet, it’s about time to familiarize yourself – these guys are arguably the hottest winery in all of Spain. Terras Gauda literally translates to land of happiness, and of late – there’s more than enough reasons for that.
The RÃas Baixas based winery is largely attributed with being responsible for the advancement and development of the O Rosal appellation as a whole, due to its dedication to quality control and preserving the native grape varieties of Galicia. Their wines are gorgeous.
The 2021 vintage was especially kind to the winery which saw both of their Albarinos reach entirely new heights. Their O Rosal Albarino blend ended up on the Wine Spectator’s ‘Top 100 Wines of the Year’ list this past year.
The O Rosal Blend is a racy mix of 60% Albariño, 23% CaÃño Blanco and 7% Loureiro. The 2021 vintage exhibits a well-rounded wine Galician white wine, filling the palate with a fresh, youthful and vibrant mouthfeel.
