“Aromas of apricot, yuzu and Turkish delight prep the palate for flavors of Valencia orange, grapefruit and rose petal. It is bright on the palate from the first sip to the zippy finish.”

A fresh and zingy albarino with sliced green apples and lime zest. Elegant on the palate with a fresh streak of acidity cutting it through, before a slightly saline finish.

This is a gorgeous example of Albarino from one of the hottest and very best wineries in Spain. They have been a champion for this varietal for the last decade and a half plus. For me, the fact that the San Campio checks in at under $20 is shocking. It’s excellent – fresh and well-balanced, with tropical and stone fruits and a hint of sage. Great with sushi, fresh seafood, pasta with cream sauce and even some salads with nuts.
