The OCHO Extra Añejo is an amazing limited-edition spirit that proves how long-aged tequila can still keep the agave at center stage. Its journey begins with overripe, single-estate agave, ensuring a light, inherent sweetness that beautifully balances the three years spent gently maturing in ex-whiskey barrels. You have to take in slow to catch all the different notes: dark chocolate, turkish apricots, salted caramel, and dried cherries dance subtly around a core of cooked agave, while the finish leaves a velvety, complex memory of roasted coffee and fresh oak.
