Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Batch 24B (127.8 Proof)

This is a beauty courtesy of one of the oldest, most prestigious and hottest distilleries anywhere. This baby is batch 24B from the folks at George T. Stagg. It was a limited late Fall release this year.

These Stagg Jr. releases have absolutely exploded in popularity over the past few years, behind incredibe quality, super high demand and not close to enough supply. The newest release is Batch 24B which is a welcomed surprise to Stagg fans who weren’t sure if they could expect another release this year. Early word is that it edges out the Batch 24A in terms of its overall quality, complexity and ageability. It’s incredibly robust and flavorful, lots of dried fruit, grilled pineapple and with some gingerbread notes a little bit of hone graham cracker. This is one big boy that checks in at 127.8 Proof (63.9% alc) that gives out quite the warm, long Kentucky hug if you know what I mean!
