94 Points, James Suckling
Wonderful aromas of peaches, honeysuckle and white flowers. At once succulent and elegant on the generous, medium-bodied palate. Then the flinty acidity lights up the long, bright finish. All the virtues of the vintage, including the underplayed power. Fermented and matured exclusively in stainless steel.

92 Points, Wine Spectator
Stone and chalk dust notes are as prevalent as the peach, melon and lemon fruit in this complex, mouthwatering white. Balanced and long, echoing citrus and mineral accents on the finish. Drink now through 2029.

92 Points, Decanter
Clean, fresh and very precise example of Vaillons. Has attractive floral notes and plenty of acidity on the palate, which is a great balance for the white peach characters. Drinking well already, this should age well for up to four years.

Founded in 1840, Simonnet-Febvre is amongst the oldest producers in Chablis and has become a benchmark for the region. Under uber-talented winemaker Jean-Philippe Archambaud, they’ve built an elite reputation with holdings that include a crown jewel plot in Grand Cru Les Preuses.

They have built a reputation on making pure and focused wines that express their terroir with an elegant mineral backbone, and they’re the only winery in Chablis to maintain the century-old tradition of producing Crémant de Bourgogne.
