Legendary Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell use over 100 years of combined experience to create this thoughtfully crafted Barrel Proof expression. Each bottle of Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Old is aged for a minimum of 13 years, reaching an ABV of 57.4% and promising a distinctive, rich, warm flavor that both of those guys would tell you, “is juice so good, it should be drank right out of the bottle.”
I received only 6 bottles of this super rare treat from our friends in Kentucky. True Whiskey Enthusiasts are going to go nuts for this one. I’m also offering it as much as a few hundred dollars a bottle less than what some others are going out at. This one is special and extremely limited. Don’t miss out!

96 Points, James Suckling – 96 Points, Decanter
This is a truly historic and special bottling. The first of its kind in 47 years! Lost C-91 from the 2017 vintage is indeed monumental in stature – having already received a 96 from James Suckling, one of the few reviewers lucky to have tasted it. I found it immensely complex with exciting nuances of what this will become in the future. In addition to all the decadent dark fruit are underlying elements of Italian herbs, cured meats, and even black pepper. An amazing collector’s item with a whole lot of life left.
This is a very rare beauty and one of the few private barrels that Jefferson’s does at 100 Proof. It leads with sweet aroma of warm panatone. Then the sweet delectable taste of fruit and honey. A warm burning at the end. And the flavor of this nectar stays on your taste buds more than a couple of minutes. Best consumed relaxing and enjoying on a chilly winter day.
The secret to Philippe’s tightly wound, complex Pinot Noir is a combo of ancient vines, natural farming techniques, and low yields. The wines are built to age, with incredible tension and length. And the secret to me securing his other-wordly 2017 old-vine Gevry-Chambertin can be chalked up to a great relationship and over a decade supporting superior Burgundian winemaking. The wine is scary good. The nose is wild, filled with spiced dark raspberries, red flowers, and baking spices. The palate is elegant and racy, with a dynamic tension that runs right through its minute-long finish. This is a high-toned, wound-up Pinot, that is starting to hit its prime and is really turning out to be a ‘must-have’ for true Burgundy lovers.
This one is too crazy. Three years and a pandemic ago after I picked the barrel I wanted from Corazon, my pick of the rare green label single barrel Corazon Reposado Tequila has arrived. Two great things. One: it’s absolutely delicious with a mix of citrus, lemongrass, honey, and light caramel with a hint of vanilla, some dried fruit and even a faint hint of espresso on the finish. Two: the pre-pandemic price. This one is a no brainer.
