Mirabeau X Coteaux D’Aix Provence Rose 2023 (2 bottles)
You can tell you’re dealing with a classy Rose right from the first sniff. It’s noticeably a few steps above your typical Provencal rose – a racy blend of mainly Grenache and Cinsault, sourced from the picturesque 25-hectare estate in the countryside of Saint-Tropez. It’s elegant and juicy with good intensity and inviting aromas of red berries, orange peel, strawberry, and spiced ginger. The soft, red currant finish adds to the wine’s overall charm, making it a delightful and approachable choice for any occasion. 90 points from Decanter who labeled this baby, “elegant” with “good intensity.”
Bieler Pere et Fils Sabine Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence Rose 2023 (2 bottles)
This is a gorgeous 90-point Rose from Provence and the team at Bieler Pere et Fils, a house that focuses entirely on making Rose. It’s beautiful with juicy fruit, a style that Vinous referred to as “ripe, vibrant and structure”. This is a classic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault but they also throw in some Cab Sauv to make it even bigger and juicier, as well as Rolle, Ugnic Blanc and Clairette for crispness and aromatics.
Roc des Anges L’Effet Papillon Côtes de Catalan Rosé 2023 (2 bottles)
A home-run of a Rose by one of Southern France’s top producers and one of our customer’s favorite’s every year. The 2023 Effet Papillon Rosé is made 100% from Grenache (as many of the best Southern French Rosés are). Pale salmon in color, it boasts aromas of bright red fruits, orange rinds and a hint of lemon zest. It’s incredibly smooth and dry, making it a great food wine– but this Rosé is serious with depth and complexity, making it worthy of enjoying on its own.
