Founded in 2013 by fourth-generation winegrowers Carlo and Dante Mondavi – grandsons of the legendary Robert Mondavi and sons of Tim Mondavi – RAEN is deeply rooted in a rich family history of winemaking. Their name itself is an acronym for “Research in Agriculture and Enology Naturally,” perfectly encapsulating their ethos of precision, respect for nature, and a relentless pursuit of understanding their unique terroir.

What sets RAEN apart is their profound dedication to cool-climate, high-elevation vineyards in the rugged, remote reaches of the true Sonoma Coast, often mere miles from the Pacific Ocean.
