Mont Blanc Neige Noire Black Gin

Category

Hey, don’t say I never bring you anything interesting! I first discovered this one at the Ivory Peacock on a night out in the city with Melissa. If you know, you know – that place is pretty incredible. There, I discovered Neige Noire, a premium black-colored gin crafted at the foot of Mont Blanc in Italy, featuring Alpine botanicals, wild juniper, and water directly from the mountain, which also happens to be the tallest in Western Europe. It is known for its mesmerizing deep black color with bluish-purple hues, its herbal scent, and a smooth, resinous taste, often used in cocktails like the increasingly popular ‘Black Spritz’. If you’re looking for something new and exciting, this might be it.

Bonus: Black Spritz ingredients: Neige Noir gin, Bisol or Bele Casel Prosecco, Marendry bitter (could also use Carpano or Campari), soda water and ice cubes (best enjoyed with some fresh fruit mixed in — I’d use a combo of Blueberries, blackberries, cherries, lemon)

Directions: Start with a cup of ice: Add the gin, then the Prosecco, followed by the bitters. Finish with fresh fruit (if desired) along with soda water or tonic. Stir as necessary.

Original price was: $99.99.Current price is: $89.99.

Despite its French name, this beautiful, new and extremely rare product comes from the Italian side of Western Europe’s tallest peak, Mont Blanc. It is made by the uber-talented Matteo Moretti and is one of those products that you simply can’t mistake for anything else.

It’s an 86 Proof distilled gin that gains a distinct color from the addition of alpine botanicals, herbs and mountain fruit along with water directly pulled directly off Mont Blanc. It’s an intense and inviting Gin that should delight lovers of Amari and Fernet.
