Massottina sits pretty within a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the rolling hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. It’s a family run winery that Decanter calls “Prosecco at its finest”. This 95-point show-stopping Prosecco does everything well – it’s incredibly food friendly, it’s refreshing and it’s intense. I love the tiny bubbles here that yield flavors of apple, apricot, citrus and minerality with excellent tension with tons of aromatics to enjoy along the way. This is a textbook release.

Masottina is a family-owned Italian winery located in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene region, known for producing exceptionally high-quality Prosecco. The winery was founded abck in 1946, and has grown into one of the largest producers in the area, managing a significant portion of the vineyards in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
There’s clearly magic in these hills – and the sparkling wines that Masottina are able to create from Glera are truly remarkable, with a sense of place and elegance.
