Knob Creek 21-Year Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey (Limited Release)

*Bourbon Buyers Exclusive*

The Knob Creek 21 Year Bourbon is a truly special bottle. This is the first ever 21-year release from Knob Creek, entering the big boy conversation with the likes of Pappy, Elijah Craig and Michter’s 20.  This spent more than two decades spent in charred oak barrels mellowing the youthful graininess into a deep and robust expression, opening with an inviting aroma of rich vanilla, aged leather, and toasted oak. On the palate, a bold and mature flavor profile unfolds with layers of dark caramel, brown sugar, and a hint of dark fruit like cherry or dried apricot. The 100-proof bottling delivers a powerful and full-bodied experience that evolves from intense sweetness to deeper more powerful notes. It’s certainly not a casual bourbon — more like a complex, “thinking whiskey” for enthusiasts who appreciate a significant and well-integrated oak presence. I’ve seen prices ranging from $699-899 bottle but no one who has it as good as we do!

Original price was: $799.00.Current price is: $399.00.

Knob Creek is a well-known name and is distilled under the direction and supervision of master distiller, Fred Noe. If you don’t know Fred, you should. He is the son of legendary master distiller, Booker Noe and is the grandson of Jim Beam. His work at KC is nothing short of legendary.

The uber-rare 21-Year release is a very limited, highly allocated one that usually eludes most whiskey fans. I was lucky enough to get us some today. Aged more than twice as long as the distillery’s flagship bourbon, the 21-Year boasts a rich copper color and deep notes of caramelized oak to its extensive aging in Knob Creek’s Kentucky rack houses.

Rich and creamy notes of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel attack as soon as you pop this one open. Bottled at 100-Proof, you get a little bit of the heat on the front palate followed by rich oak, burnt sugar and freshly baked bread. As it starts to open, you get some sweeter, creamy vanilla notes that cream in as well as campfire s’mores and a dash of pepper. The finish is long and memorable – something you’d expect for a Whiskey with this kind of age statement.
