Jermann Pinot Grigio 2021

Categories , ,

Silvio Jermann is one of the most legendary names in Italian wine. He is a revolutionary — a man who changed Italian wine history and created a new era in white vinification.

The man is the undisputed master of the genre. Just ask Italy’s foremost wine authority, the Gambero Rosso who crowned Silvio Jermann the best representative winemaker of Italian white wines in the world, ever.

This is not simple Pinot Grigio but something else altogether – at once simple and enjoyable but also deep and complex. It’s why these guys are in a league of their own.

Original price was: $30.00.Current price is: $25.00.

92 Points, James Suckling
Crushed stones, jasmine, white tea and green apples on the nose. Crisp, tangy and fresh with a medium body and a clean, mineral finish. Drink now.

91 Points, Wine Spectator
A spine of racy acidity drives this lithe white, creating a mouthwatering frame for the finely meshed notes of crunchy pear, pink grapefruit zest, melon and salty mineral. Bright and hard to stop sipping. Drink now.

92 Points, James Suckling – 91 Points, Wine Spectator

It has an intense straw yellow color. The aromas are all intriguing: white tea leaves, perfectly ripe Anjou pear, crushed stone. The body is full but bright with bright acid – bone dry and persistent. It also tauts a 92 point score from James Suckling and a 91 from Wine Spectator, but trust me, this drinks well above its station.
