The Liberty School Reserve Cabernet is the flagship in the Liberty School lineup, crafted from preferred vineyard blocks and aged to perfection in the finest oak barrels to get a rich, layered expression that offers no shortage of this special release offers depth, complexity, and length not often seen in this range of Paso Cabernet.

The Liberty School 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a true expression of Pasos’ diverse terroir. It’s sourced exclusively from two distinct AVAs – the Estrella District and the San Juan Creek District where it benefits from warm growing conditions and well-drained soils, drawing out depth and structure in the fruit.

After an initial aging period of 13 months, only a handful of barrels were selected and blended for the Liberty School Reserve treatment, including three months of additional aging in new French oak to enhance complexity and mouthfeel. It’s ridiculously good considering the price..

The 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon captivates with its rich garnet color and enticing aromas of vanilla bean, bright plum, and fresh leather. On the palate, flavors of dried cherry, blackberry, and currant are balanced by subtle notes of peppercorn, leather, and toasted oak. Firm yet supple tannins add length to a silky finish, leaving a lasting impression.
