Owner and wine maker Gianni has a deep knowledge and love of the region. Supported by his sister Paola, and aided by the experience of their parents, they cultivate sixteen hectares of vineyards located in the municipalities of Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo and Nizza Monferrato. He is considered one of the best winemakers in the region, with his Moscato d’Asti the recipient of several Tre Bicchliero awards.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive press throughout the years, the family decided to remain a small family company– giving them the ability to handle all branches of the production and supply chain from growing the grapes, to bottling the finished wine.

Gianni’s Barbera d’Asti Boscodonne is hand-harvested and kept in stainless steal vats for months, allowing for the truest expression of youthful Barbera to speak. It’s bright, and medium bodied with aromas of cherries, roses and tea leaves. On the attack, a harmonious molding of red fruits that offer easy drinking and a really good partner to most any food pairing you can throw at it.
