George T Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Batch 24A

This is a beauty courtesy of one of the oldest, most prestigious and hottest distilleries anywhere. This baby is batch 24A from the folks at George T. Stagg. It was a limited late August release.

These Stagg Jr. releases have absolutely exploded in popularity over the past few years, behind incredibly quality, super high demand and not nearly enough supply. Many in the whiskey world absolutely adore Batch 15 with some calling it the very best of all the batches (though personally I think Batch 3 and Batch 12 if you still have them are otherworldly). It’s incredibly robust and flavorful and is big boy that checks in at 127.6 Proof (63.8% alc) that gives out a huge Kentucky hug.
