His G4 High Proof XM Edition is truly exceptional – a limited release that showcases the master distiller’s incredible expertise, his patience, and his undying love for the land in which he was born and raised. This special Blanco tequila is twice distilled in copper stills using Felipe’s signature 50/50 mix of rainwater and spring water.
What makes this release unique? The “XM” stands for two things: Extra Mature, as it uses what was likely the last field picked of 8-year-old agave in all of Jesus María (with extremely high sugar content), and Extra Madera, since 30% was fermented in wooden tinas – a technique that is almost never used for high-proof expressions.
